Happy Spring to my PSHA Family. As is usually the case around here, we’re going through the schizophrenic weather that has us enjoying trail rides in the sun one day and buttoned up in rain gear or looking for an indoor arena the next. One way or another I am sure you’ve been working your furry beasts back into competition shape – Maybe yourself too!
Hello PSHA Family. We’re back after a hiatus that was probably far too long. My apologies for being a little silent on the Newsletter front. But … the time is now as the season is right around the corner. Truly, we’re about 4 weeks away from show season getting started!
Happy Fall PSHA Family. A busy few weeks culminates in Convention in just a few weeks. I am excited to see you all at Convention and enjoy a little social time outside the arena as well as spends some time working on the rules and things that will make our organization healthier and better for the years ahead. Quick note as we head into the new year. Show fees will increase to $1.50 per ride for the 2025 season!
Congratulations PSHA Family!!! What a weekend at Interstate. I want to thank all that were there for their heart, excitement, passion and camaraderie that they showed from the bleachers to the arena and across the state line. You did Washington and PSHA proud. Thank you to all of our family that was at home following along and cheering and praying for our success and safety.
Interstate is right around the corner! This year Interstate will be held at Appleatchee Riders, Wenatchee, WA on Labor Day weekend, August 30th-September 1st 2024.

Hello PSHA Family. I owe you all an apology. I haven’t done a good job of getting out a Newsletter the last couple months. Life got busy and I failed to communicate with you very well. For that I am sorry. Now, it’s June and the season is in full swing, and everyone is moving and grooving towards their averages. I know one person has already completed their 7A. There is a lot happening around the state and a lot of efforts to make sure the year continues going well and finishes strong!
Congratulations to Duncan!! Duncan will graduate on June 7th from Lynden High School with a 3.95 GPA and will be attending Montana State University to study Accounting and Data Analytics while also attending their Honors College.
